27th February 2011 - Today I drove to Louth in Lincolnshire to visit the breeder who has Geilo's last litter of fourteen puppies. The litter of seven male's and seven female's are all fit, healthy and active. Watching them at lunch time was great to see, they all devoured all the food in the dish, they have a wonderfull appetite. I also saw some of the puppies from Geilo's 9th litter bred by the same breeder, I saw one female and two males, they were in excellent

18th February 2011 - We had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl Uschi today she died, in my arms, very peacefully after a short illness, Uschi would have been 8 years old in two weeks time. It was not a birthday we could ever forget as she was born on 03-03-2003. RIP our beautiful girl. Tribute to follow.

13th February 2011 - News of Geilo's last litter of 14 puppies, 7 males and 7 females, now three weeks old they are all growing and developing very well. We will add pictures as soon as we receive them from the breeder to this page and Geilo's Litters Page, Litter 10.

12th February 2011 - We have received some pictures of Tilly a female from Geilo's litter 6, she is the litter sister of Dex below, see Geilo's litters page, Litter 6 for more pictures.

10th February 2011 - We received some very nice pictures and news about one of Geilo's male puppies from his litter number six. The pictures are of Dex he is a frequent traveller to the Continent with his owners Melanie and David, you may have seen the pictures of Dex at their wedding in Italy last year. They have just returned with Dex from their first trip to the Alps where they went to Mt. Blanc.

5th February 2011 - Today we went to the Darlington and District Open Show at Scorton in North Yorkshire. We had entered our young female Freya, this was her first show. There was only the Open class for Bernese, there were four dogs entered, unfortunaly two were absent. She was the only puppy in the class, the other dog was an adult male. In the class Freya stood very well, the judge commented on how well she stood. We went into the Working puppy group with six other breeds, there was only one puppy younger than Freya, we were delighted when the male judge awarded Freya Puppy Group 3.
