26th May 2011 - Now turned ten months old Freya is now old enough to have her Character Test to become a Therapy Dog, we now have to wait for official notification from the Charity before she starts visiting school with me.

 

25th May 2011 - Since Saturday we have had seven puppies leave us to go off with their new families and start their new lives. It is hard to believe how fast the last eight weeks have passed, even with the problems wih Steffi time has still flown by. The next puppy to leave us will be Mabel, she leaves on Sunday to go to her new home in Hull where she will live with a half sister from Geilo's litter Number 5.

We have taken pictures of all the puppies and their new owners before they left us, you will find  these pictures plus many other on 'Our Puppies' page. We will add more pictures and news of the puppies over the next few months. 

 

21st May 2011 - The puppies will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and today it has been a sad day in the Staubach house, as three of the boys have left us for their new homes. The first to leave us was Odin, he had to go to Edinburgh where he was catching the lunch time flight to Cork with his owners Pat and Majella who were accompanied by their oldest son Steven. Next to go was Merlin, his owners are Lynn and Derek. Finally Lewis who has gone to Oxford with his owners Will and Hazell, they have another of our dogs Hughie who is over 8 years old. We have added some pictures of all three males to our puppy page.

 

 

20th May 2011 - Today is Elkie's 4th Birthday, it is hard to believe we have had her all this time, Elkie is a daughter from Geilo's first litter. We send birthday wishes to her sister Hunny and brothers Tigg and Hudson. We are expecting our friends Pat, Majella and their son Steven today to see the puppies before they collect their male and take him back to Cork in Southern Ireland. They have named him Odin, he will be the first puppy to leave us on Saturday morning very early as they have to drive to Edinburgh to catch a flight to Cork with their new male. 

 

18th May 2011 - It is with sadness we have to report the sudden death of Kira (Staubach Enchantress) a daughter of our beautiful Madi from litter No.4. Her owners Clare and Simon had given Kira a great home, she was 8 years 4 months old, they still have Tascha who will miss her friend very much. Our thoughts are with Clare and Simon at this sad time.

12th May 2011 - Today we received a picture from Jane Clarke who has Nemo one of Geilo's male puppies from his litter No 10. We have added the picture of Nemo to Geilo's Litters page.

 

6th May 2011 - We had Will and Hazell visit us from Oxford, their first male from us was Harley who was followed by Hughie, sadly Harley died. The time is now right for a new friend for Hughie who has missed Harley, so one of Steffi and Geilo's male puppies will be going to Oxford in the next few weeks, their new puppies name is Lewis More news for May please look at the page heading Our Puppies where you will find lots of pictures and news about all of the puppies of Geilo and Steffi. We still have not made our final decision on which were will be keeping, the selection is proving difficult.
