We liked this very nice female of Virginia's when we first saw her and had no hesitation in allowing Virginia to mate her to our male Geilo, we thought they would complement each other well, later this female Clashaidy Designer Genes was made up to a UK Champion. So you can appreciate an independant view of her here is the judges critique from the Working and Pastoral Breeds of Wales Championship Show held on the 18th April 2009. This critique will give you a good impression of this beautiful female, the judge for the above show was breed specialist Julie Vaughan.    

Critique: Clashaidy Designer Genes, most attractive, of good strength and correct proportions, beautifull head, strong yet feminine, sweet expression, excellent bone, good breadth right through, stands correct front and rear, excellent construction, particularly good in forehand, shoulder layback and correct length and placement of upper arm, correct neck angle and slightly lowered head carriage, rounded croup, pleasing outline all round, stood over a lot of ground, super sound movement when she settled into stride but would ideally need a larger ring to show her impressive side gait to full advantage, in lovely coat and condition. One of her daughters, Clashaidy Nidelva Flowing of Balahunz also won her first Challenge Certificate (C.C.) and Reserve Challenge Certificate (Res C.C.) in 2009 and the Reserve C.C. at Crufts 2010 - see below for details.

11th March 2010 - Crufts, 2010:  Congratulations to:  Mrs Yvonne Fison-Bates owner of Clashaidy Nidelva Flowing of Balahunz (Quilla). She was awarded the Reserve female Challenge Certificate at Crufts this year, she was the only English dog in the top four. This was her second Reserve Challenge Certificate, She has one Challenge Certificate to add to her two Reserves. 

 

14th June 2009 - Southern Bernese Mountain Dog Club Championship Show: Winner of the Yearling and Novice Class and also Reserve C.C. (Res C.C.)

 

7th June 2009 - Southern Counties Championship Show: Winner of the Post Graduate class with 15 in class and her first Challenge Certificate (C.C.) - Judge Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews, critique:  Clashaidy Nidelva Flowing of Balahunz. Fabulous muscle tone! Super construction and movement. A bit too much white on chest and behind her pastern, but I loved her head, powerful built and fluid, easy movement. Coat in gorgeous condition too.
