9th August 2008 - We were very sorry to hear that Jodi's litter brother Harley had to be given sleep earlier this week.  He would have been 7 in October.  Will and Hazel, his owners, still have a full brother, Hughie, from Madi's second litter. Our thougths are with them at this sad time. 

On a brighter note, the Scottish Bernese Mountain Dog Club held their 21st Anniversary show on the 2nd August 2008 and it turned out to be a very good day for Geilo and the mother of his first litter and siblings.  Geilo came second in Post Graduate(10), the mother of his first litter, Torralbaz First Foot owned by Graham and Pauline McAllister won the Mid-Limit Bitch Class(6).  His son, Tiggerifik Chocolat Orange - Tigg, won the Junior Dog Class (10) and his daughter, Tiggerifik Lady in Red at Staubach - Elkie, won the Junior Bitch Class(7). Elkie's sister, Tiggerifik Hunny Bee was entered in the show, but as she was out of coat she was withdrawn.  The other member of the family, Tiggerifik Making a Splash, Hudson, was also at the show, but not shown as he is a companion dog. Although it was torrential rain for most of the day a good time was had by all. For more pictures see the litter page and for the critiques, when published see Show Results.
