26th July 2008 - Leeds Championship Show. Judge: Mrs M Nelson.
Geilo - Graduate Male Class - 2 entries - 2nd
Judges critique: 2nd Instone’s DALE GUDBRAND’S C- GEILO ZALA AT STAUBACH (imp Nor) Very interesting one this and his foreign ancestry has brought to us a lovely strong fellow to grace the ring. Looks every bit a cart-puller with his decent breadth of chest and wonderful bone, lovely strong working qualities. Coming to maturity at almost 4, such a pity the cheeky yet kindly lad still appeared to need some ring training, putting his head down and spoiling his move a bit. Strong headpiece with lovely flat skull, today scored over 1st in that department as more finished. Whilst he had a well presented jacket he needed a little more fill-in to the rear of his under carriage, showing a bit too much daylight there to fully complete the picture. Tended to stand a wee bit out at one elbow, never mind, nothing weedy about this well-meaning lad and there really was a fair bit to like about him.
Elkie - Junior Female Class - 4 entries - 4th

6th July 2008 South Wales Kennel Association Championship Show: Judge: Mrs Gillian Sharman
Geilo - Graduate Male Class, 5 entries - Third (no critique given)
Elkie - Junior Female Class, 7 entries - First
Judges critique: Instone's Tiggerifik Lady in Red at Staubach, wanted to take this one home, had everything I was looking for except maturity. Lovely head shape, sweetest expression, compact body shape and moved well, one for the future.
22nd June 2008 Blackpool Championship Show: Judge: Mrs Janet Risborough (replacement for appointed Finnish judge who was ill)
Geilo - Post Graduate Male Class, 12 entries (5 abs) - Not placed
Elkie - Junior Female Class, 7 entries (3 abs) - First (qualified for Crufts 2009)
There were 7 in the class with 3 absent.
Judges Critique: 1st Instones Tiggerifik Lady In Red at Staubach. This girl is a beauty and catches the eye as soon as she enters the ring. I hoped that she would be as good to go over as she is to look at. Pleased to say that she did not disappoint in any aspect. Has a beautiful, regal head and lovely shape and correct colour to eyes. Her body is toned to perfection with a luxuriant coat that is outstanding in colour and texture. Adequate bone and angles fore and aft are correct. Standing and moving she is a little dream with everything going for her. Just could not compete with the more mature bitches in the challenge. Should have a superb future as she matures. (Mrs Janet Risborough)
